All bidders must register in advance and provide valid contact details. You will be assigned a South Essex Auctions bidding number. Bidders are deemed to act as principals unless explicitly acting on behalf of a disclosed third party.
A Buyer’s Premium of 20% on the hammer price of each lot will be applied, inclusive of all fees, with a minimum charge of £2 per lot. This applies to all lots unless stated otherwise.
Any published or displayed estimates are for guidance only. They represent South Essex Auctions’ opinion of value and may not reflect the Vendor’s reserve.
South Essex Auctions offers an Advance Bid service (also called Commission Bid, Absentee Bid, or similar terms) for those unable to attend in person. Bidding forms must be submitted before the auction starts. The Auctioneer will attempt to secure lots at the lowest possible price. All fields must be completed, and bids should be submitted in whole British Pounds (£).
All purchases must be paid for within 24 hours of the auction, except for Advance Bid lots where this window applies. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or cash (subject to legal limits and anti-money laundering regulations).
No lot may be collected until it has been paid for in full. Advance Bid lots are subject to the same collection rules.
All items are sold 'as seen' with no guarantee, including electrical items. Bidders are encouraged to inspect lots prior to bidding. The Auctioneer is not responsible for any errors or omissions in lot descriptions.
